Ci base calibration
Analysis inputs for inductive conductivity sensors must undergo a Ci base cali-
bration in the course of commissioning. A basic Ci calibration must be performed
when:
•
A new sensor or a new Ci optional board is being installed for the first time
•
The sensor or a Ci optional board was replaced
•
A Ci optional board was repositioned to a different optional board slot
•
Data loss occurred as the result of failure of the backup battery while the
power was switched off
•
Device software was updated
After the basic calibration has been performed, the measuring input can be cal-
ibrated. Following successful calibration, the measuring input is ready for use.
NOTE!
For the Ci base calibration, you need the JUMO Type 202711/21 calibration
adapter for inductive conductivity sensors (TN 00543395).
CAUTION!
A buffer battery is built into the device. Its purpose is to maintain data when the
device is switched off or if the voltage supply is interrupted. If the battery ap-
proaches the end of its operating life (approximately 7 years) then a battery
prealarm will indicate that status. When the battery is empty a battery alarm will
indicate that status. The battery must be exchanged before it is empty. The bat-
tery must be exchanged by the JUMO Service department! In this case, send
in the device!
