Activating the pattern change mode
When the MODE key
is pressed, the pattern change
mode button
A
is displayed on the screen. When this but-
ton is pressed, the pattern change mode screen is displayed.
At this time, the presser plate goes up to the intermediate
standby position, and the pocket presser plate and the pock-
et setting plate travel to the change position after the origin
retrieval (*1).
(*1) Once the READY key
is pressed and the origin retrieval
operation is carried out, the origin retrieval operation will not be
carried out under the pattern change mode.

To avoid possible accidents caused by abrupt start of the machine, check to be sure that no one plac-

2) Remove pocket setting plate fixation screws

tion of the arrow to remove it.
Change it with a different one. Then, fix it with
pocket setting plate fixation screws
