Venting the Calzid-Ex piping system
Slowly open the vent screw (2) on the
dosing pump (1) by 2 or 3 turns.
On the control panel, press the illuminated
Operation status button and hold for at
least 5 secs.
The descaling cycle starts and the
illuminated button flashes green (1 Hz).
Wait until there is no more air coming out of
the vent outlet (3) of the dosing pump.
If the dosing pump stops, repeat the
procedure by pressing the illuminated
Operation status button until Calzid-Ex
comes out of the vent outlet (3) of the
dosing pump.
Slowly close the vent screw (2) on the
dosing pump.
Press the illuminated Reset button on the
control panel.
The display on the PLC shows the following
message:
If a different message appears, refer to
Chapter 12 “Troubleshooting”, on page 65.
On the underside of the dosing pump (1),
set the F/T toggle switch (2) to F
(automatic), set toggle switch in direction
towards the person.
Remove the beaker from under the vent
outlet (3) of the dosing pump.
If necessary, wipe away any liquid in the
housing.
