Fault message on
the PLC display
Possible cause
Troubleshooting
Anolyte Err
The Anolyte tank is
empty.
The level sensor in the
Anolyte tank is defective
or not properly
connected.
After approx. 10 minutes of
production, the fault message
should disappear after
acknowledgement; see Chapter
10.9 on page 58.
Check condition and connections
of the level sensor.
Water
shortage
No water available at the
water inlet.
Calcification of the
system, e.g. in case of
hardness dips in the
softening unit (ion
exchanger).
Check whether water is present at
the inlet.
Check whether the regulating
valve is closed.
Acknowledge the fault message;
see Chapter 10.9 “Acknowledging
fault messages", page 58.
Resume production; see
Chapter 10.3 “Switching on the
system”, page 52.
CrLow
"current too low"
Too little Salisol is
injected into the system.
The reactor in the
process cabinet is
defective.
Check the level of salt in the
Salisol tank, refill if necessary, see
Chapter 11.2.2 on page 62.
Acknowledge the fault message;
see Chapter 10.9 “Acknowledging
fault messages“ on page 58.
Resume production; see
Chapter 10.3 “Switching on the
system”, page 52.
If current is still too low after
several attempts, please inform
GF JRG customer service.
