In addition to this BT-10 installation kit, you will also need the banknote
reader whose part code will depend on the banknotes that the customer wants
the machine to recognise.
If you wish to install the BT-10 banknote reader in a machine that has been delivered
without this payment system, you need to follow these steps:
•
Replace the machine pushbutton panel plate to attach the banknote reader
face. Disassemble the components of the pushbutton panel assembly and
mount them on the new plate adapted to the banknote reader.
•
Remove the plate that holds the micro attachments from the machine’s
external door to be able to install the banknote reader stacker.
•
Screw the Omega trimming onto the place where the banknote reader will
be installed.
•
Attach the banknote reader to the previous omega
•
Screw the banknote reader trimming to the omega, on the outside of the
door (see figure 6.12.4)
•
Remove the coffee bean container and the soluble product containers.
•
Loosen the plate that covers the control card and transformer assembly (on
the left hand side of the cabinet).
•
Connect the banknote reader harness to the control card cod.-88001571
using either one of the 6-way connectors shown on figure 6.12.4.1. Pull out
the cable harness and replace the lid. Attach the banknote reader harness
to the rest of the cables coming out of the card assembly and pass it
through the door to connect it to the banknote reader.
