6.12.3 Flavour filter for hot drinks

Very important: This kit should be installed outside the machine, before the
inlet solenoid valve. No couplings or connectors are included for the solenoid
valve.
This type of filter is meant to provide optimal quality water for hot drink dispensing
machines.
They are pre-coated filter using active carbon dust to remove all impurities larger than
1 µm, as well as undesirable
flavours and smells
. This results in a better quality
product that also reduces health hazards and lengthens the working life of machine
parts.
This type of filter also prevents scale formation, provided the hardness level of the water
supply of the machine is less than 20 °FF (French degrees). If the water used to
prepare the various drinks dispensed by the machine has a higher level of hardness,
the water softener kit (
part code 9050212
) is recommended.
The everpure filter kit (
part code 9050213
)
consists of the following:
1.
Installation head QL3 with support,
3/8” NPT water inlet and outlet, and an
integrated stopcock. The head is
mounted on the cartridge by turning it
on the cartridge nozzle until it stops..
2.
4H model cartridge replacement with
an average flow of 1.9 l/min and an
approximate processing capacity of
5680 litres.
The following should be taken into account
before using this type of filter:
§
Before using the filter rinse it for 2
minutes under full flow and pressure
to get rid of any air in the cartridge.
§
Maximum working pressure is 10 bar.
§
Maximum water temperature should
not exceed 38 °C
§
El filter should be installed in vertical
position.
To replace the cartridge when it is saturated, follow the instructions included with the
replacement cartridge.
