SAFETY WARNINGS

Only a qualified installer should install the appliance. The

appliance must be installed in accordance with the obligatorily

instructions attached to the appliance, with the statutory

texts and the applicable rules of the art, in particular:

-The February 23, 2018 decision (amended) relating to the

technical and safety regulations applicable to gas and

liquefied hydrocarbon installations located inside residential

buildings or their outbuildings.

-The NF DTU 61.1 standard, P1 to P7 Gas installations in

residential buildings

-The NF DTU 24.2 standard on ventilation

-The Departmental Sanitary Regulations (RSD)

The gas appliances described in this manual are designed to

operate only in closed combustion chambers, i.e. with all the

glass screens and closing systems in place.

Before installation, check that the local distribution system

(identify the type of gas, the pressure and the appliance

settings) is compatible.

The appliance is configured and adjusted for certain types of

gases (natural gas G20-G25-G25.3, butane G30 or propane

G31) and these cannot be changed after delivery of the

appliance. The gas type is indicated on the rating plate.

These settings are factory-sealed, and no adjustment can be

made without BORDELET written authorisation

The gas valve has an ionization safety device which will off

the gas supply in the absence of a flame.

The combustion chamber is equipped with a valve to prevent

pressure increases. This valve is located above the fireplace.

Its freedom should be ensured after asssembly and before

starting the device.

In normal use this appliance is intended to operate under the

following conditions;

- Maximum altitude: 1600 m

- Minimum and maximum storage temperatures: -20° C

+65° C

- Minimum and maximum operating temperatures: 0° C

+40° C

- Maximum indoor air humidity measured at 27° C DB (Dry

Bulb) at 65% RH (Relative Humidity).

- Healthy indoor environment (devoid of corrosive

substances)

- This appliance is intended to operate in Class II overvoltage

and Level 2 pollution environments in accordance with

IEC664. To maintain pollution level 2, you must protect it

from splashes of water and oil and limit the amount of dust

settling on it.

Never use a flame to check for gas leaks.

The appliance must be installed on a floor with sufficient

load-bearing capacity. If an existing building does not meet

this prerequisite, adequate measures (e.g. installation of a

load distribution plate) must be taken to enable the floor to

support the weight of the appliance.

All surfaces of the appliance are active surfaces and are

therefore hot.

Floors, shelves and walls close to the appliance must be

made from non-flammable materials.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

INSPECTION ON ARRIVAL

Check the appliance immediately on arrival.

Make sure that the appliance is correct for the type of gas

and the combustion product evacuation system as indicated

on the nameplate of the appliance and on the gas settings

label.

Notify the carrier and vendor if damage or defects are found.

All waste must be sorted and disposed of in suitable

containers.

MAINTENANCE

The smoke outlet system must be cleaned at least once a

year. Its airtightness must be checked. Disassembly of the

deflector may be needed to perform these operations. We

suggest that you take note of its position before removing it

in order to be able to place it back in the same position.

We recommend having a specialist perform full maintenance

on the appliance once a year. Airtight seals as well as safety

and operation systems will need to be checked.

To ensure that your appliance is properly airtight, the seal

around the glass must be replaced by a professional each

year.

SPARE PARTS

Only use original spare parts to maintain the guarantee and

correct operation of the appliance.

You can buy spare parts from a specialized BORDELET or

SEGUIN Group retailer.

RECYCLING

This home appliance is produced in compliance with

European Directive 2002/96/EC concerning the disposal of

This symbol indicates that the product may under no

circumstances be treated as household waste, it should be

taken to a special recycling centre for electrical and electronic

equipment.

Improper disposal of the appliance by the owner may be

subject to penalties under local legislation.

Selective sorting will assist with recycling and eco-friendly

processing at the end of its life and, this will help to prevent

negative impacts for the environment and health. It will

enable the materials comprising the appliance to be re-used

and/or recycled.

To find out more about your local waste recycling centres,

contact the waste recycling department in your area or ask in
