INSTALLATION OF THE APPLIANCE

INSTALLATION OF THE BASE PLATES

The base plates are to be attached using the bolts provided.

The counter-sinks should be upwards to accept the heads.

INSTALLATION OF THE HOOD AND FLUES

Before installing the hood and flues, make sure the hood

mounting brackets are in place. Otherwise, install them.

Depending on the configuration, the diameter of the flue

ducts will be different, but the nozzle is identical:

Ø130/200

Flue ducts compatible with your appliance are

POUJOULAT

DUOGAS

ducts.

Warning: No other flue duct can be used.

For a C31 or C91 installation, an adapter

(Ø130/200

Ø100/150) must be attached to the nozzle and

Ø100/150 ducts used up to the roof outlet.

Warning: the reduction must be installed on the adaptor on

the nozzle.

The smoke outlet section must be consistent and uniform
throughout its length; no diameter change on the system is
authorised.

The minimum distance between the outside of the concentric
system and combustible materials is 50mm.

The flue ducts must slide into each other correctly and form a

stable whole.

Airtightness must be achieved according to POUJOULAT
specifications. Any other complementary means is forbidden.
Vertical flue ducts must be installed with the female part
looking up.
When the flue ducts pass through the roof, accessories
recommended by the manufacturer must be used.

Connection with the building
-Flues must neither be obstructed nor sealed when crossing
the walls.
-Crossing of outside walls must be made inside sheaths.

-Ducts must neither be built-in, incorporated nor engraved in
masonry.
-If fixing is needed, it must be done using clamps.

Pathway inside the building where the appliance has been
placed.
-Flue ducts can pass through premises (or outbuildings)
different from those where the appliance has been installed.
In that case they must be placed inside a casing.
-These prescriptions do not apply to ducts crossing
undeveloped attic spaces unless the flue surface temperature
exceeds 80

°

C during normal operation.

-Safety clearance between the flue and combustible

materials: please refer to manufacturer's prescriptions.

How to make the casing:
-It is necessary to comply with the safety clearances from
combustible materials.
-The casing must be permanently ventilated by top and

bottom openings, each with an area greater than or equal to

20cm² and placed so as to include the whole annular space

-Warning: if a wall-bushing insulated kit (insulating shell) is

used, it is necessary to refer to the manufacturer’s

specifications for information about the ventilation needed
(this is much more important).
-If the casing is placed at a shorter distance than the safety
clearance, then it must be made entirely of materials
belonging to the M0, A2s1d0 or A1 reaction-to-fire class.
