The RF board assembly is ready to be installed in the lower shell. For help, see
“Reassembling the 1555” on page 2-30.
Removing and Replacing the Shield and Chassis Assembly
(915 MHz 1555), or the Antenna Assembly (2.4 GHz 1555)
To replace the shield and chassis assembly (915 MHz 1555), you need:

Shield and chassis assembly (P/N 072376S-001)
To replace the antenna assembly (2.4 GHz 1555), you need:
•
Antenna assembly (P/N A050014-01)
You need these tools:
•
Torque driver with Torx bit
•
Small Phillips screwdriver
To remove and replace the shield and chassis assembly or the antenna assembly
1. Open the 1555 and disconnect the upper case assembly as described on page 2-12.
2. Disconnect the 8-pin flex cable from the rear of the scan engine.
