Replacing the Piezo Assembly
To replace the piezo assembly, you need the following part:

Piezo assembly, P/N 072438S-001
You need this tool:
•
Small slotted screwdriver
To replace the piezo assembly
1. Open the 1555 and disconnect the upper case assembly as described on page 2-12.
2. Use a small slotted screwdriver to pry the piezo assembly out of the upper case.
3. Peel the backing from the adhesive ring around the new piezo assembly and press
the assembly into place in the upper case assembly. Keep the wires oriented as
shown.
The 1555 is now ready for reassembly. For help, see “Reassembling the 1555” on page
2-30.
