Lateral side supports with swing-away unit
The lateral side supports with swing-away unit have been built into the postural
supports during production of the seat shell� It is no longer possible to perform
any readjustments to the cushions� If it is necessary to perform any readjust-
ments, please contact your medical supplies dealer�
To swing away the lateral side supports, proceed as follows:
Take hold of the front of the cushion with one hand�
Use your pointer finger on the other hand to press on the ribbed area of the
silver release lever on the outside of the swing-away unit hinge�
Then swing the postural side support away to the side (while still pressing
the release lever!)�
To return the lateral side supports back to their starting position, simply
swing them back into place until you hear an audible “click” sound�

The lateral side supports without swing-away unit have been built into the side
elements of the ERGOLINE back unit during production of the seat shell� It is
not possible to perform any readjustments� If it is necessary to perform any
readjustments, please contact your medical supplies dealer�
8. Back angle adjustment (optional)
Your ERGOLINE has been equipped with a back angle adjustment option� There
are several rules to follow when using this option in order to ensure the safe use
of your ERGOLINE�
The information below relates to the mounting of the ERGOLINE on the SIMPLY
undercarriage manufactured by interco; the applicability of this information must
be checked when using the ERGOLINE with any other undercarriage�
Version with incremental adjustment plates for back angle adjustment:

� The incremental adjustment plate on the ERGOLINE back angle adjustment
system is limited to the next-to-last adjustment level by the maximum inclina-
tion of the SIMPLY push bar� However, it should be mentioned here for your
information, that the third-to-last adjustment level enables the back unit to
be reclined to approx�

°, which is usually sufficient� If you desire a greater
angle, then adjust the seat angle setting on the SIMPLY undercarriage in order
to maintain the lowest possible center of gravity for the product combination�
