To open the buckle, press on the moving part� This will release the strap
and you can then pull it out� Please make sure to hold the patient in place
in the seat shell when performing this step�

Lap belt with press buckle
Preparation:
Place the patient in the seat shell�
Lay the lap belt over the patient’s lap with the inserter�
Press the inserter into the buckle while simultaneously pressing with one
hand against the patient’s pelvis�
Then pull on the free end of the strap until the lap belt has reached its final
position� You can verify this by checking to ensure that the belt is positioned
properly and pressure is evenly distributed along the patient’s pelvis�
To open the buckle, press hard on the red button in the middle of the
buckle� Please make sure to hold the patient in place in the seat shell when
performing this step�
Note:
It is usually only necessary to adjust the belt once at the beginning� This
adjustment will be maintained even after you open the buckle� However, you must
check to ensure proper adjustment with each use�

Lap belt with deflection roller
Preparation:
Place the patient in the seat shell�
Lay the part of the lap belt with the deflection roller over the patient’s lap�
Then pull on the other end of the belt using the deflection roller�
Then pull on the free end of the belt until the lap belt has reached its final
position� You can verify this by checking to ensure that the belt is positioned
properly and pressure is evenly distributed along the patient’s pelvis�
Secure it into position by connecting the free end of the belt with the hook
and loop fastener provided for this purpose�
To open the lap belt, release the hook and loop fastener�
Note:
The belt must be adjusted with each use� Always check to ensure that the
belt is positioned properly each time you use it�

Pelvic harness
Preparation:
Before placing the patient in the seat shell, always check to ensure
that the pelvic harness is sitting flat against the seating surface with no folds�
Then place the patient in the seat shell as described in section
3
