Head rest bracket, straight
The angled head rest bracket can be used to adjust the head rest at two levels,
height and depth� The procedure is identical to the one described under section
5
�

Head rest bracket, continuous angle adjustment
The head rest bracket with continuous angle adjustment can be used to adjust
the head rest at two levels, height and depth�
To adjust the height, proceed as follows:
The universal bracket for the head rest bracket is located on the back side
of the hard outer shell� To adjust it, proceed as described under section
5
(Head positioning)�
To adjust the depth, proceed as follows:
Turn the black clamping lever counterclockwise to open the clamping unit
on the arm rest bracket�
The angle of the head rest bracket to the seat shell can then be adjusted�
Hold the head rest in the desired position with one hand and secure it in
place by tightening the black clamping lever with the other hand�
This will maintain the head rest in position�
However, it is necessary to readjust the head rest cushion�
Turn the head rest at its fixation point until the patient’s head is positioned
comfortably on the head rest cushion�

Head rest cushion
There are three different head rests available for the ERGOLINE seat shell that
are secured using the bracket systems described above� The cushions available
for these head rests include:
Standard
Shell-shaped
Half-roll
The head rest cushions with hook and loop fasteners and cushions for the back
of the head are not mounted using head rest brackets, but are attached to the
back cushion with hook and loop fasteners�
