Remove the heat sink from its packaging. To avoid damage to the heat sink, grasp it by its narrower top
and bottom edges.

Set the anti-tilt wires to the outward position.
6.
Turn the heat sink over and place it bottom side up on a flat surface.
7.
Remove the plastic protective film from the Thermal Interface Material (TIM).
