Screw the handlebars (6L, 6R) to the
pivoting arms (7L, 7R) using bolts (44),
curved washers (43) and nylon nuts (13).
Pull the pulse sensor wires (62) from the
stationary handlebar (5) in through the hole
in the side of the handlebar post (4) and out
through the opening in the handlebar post.
Fit the stationary handlebar (5) to the
handlebar post (4) using spring washers (18)
and bolts (53).
Screw a protective cover (42a, 42b) securely
to each pivoting arm (7L, 7R) using self-
tapping screws (35, 41).
Screw the protective covers (36L, 36R)
securely to the front of the crossbars (8L, 8R)
using self-tapping screws (35).
Screw the protective covers (28a, 28b)
securely to the rear of the crossbars (8L, 8R)
using self-tapping screws (35).
Connect the pulse sensor wires and the
sensor wire to the equivalent wires from the
computer (47).
Insert two 1.5 V AA batteries into the battery
compartment on the computer (47). Check
that the batteries are correctly fi tted.
Fit the computer (47) to the computer
bracket on the handlebar post (4) using star
screws (52).
Screw the protective cover (51a, 51b)
securely around the handlebar post (4)
using self-tapping screws (35).
The crosstrainer is now assembled and
ready for use.
