12.2. Editing the name
Touch the screen around the area labelled “Name”. The field will turn into inverse colour, and
a keyboard will appear on the display.
Attention!
The on-screen keyboard will always appear in the language which is currently selected. If
the patient’s name is in another language (special characters are needed), return to the
Setup menu, and select the required language.
Using the keyboard, enter the name using alphanumerical characters. Capital letters are
automatically set by the device, i.e. the first letter after a space character will be capitalized.
The
Back
button can be used to delete the last character entered. The name can be stored by
pressing the
Ok
button, which brings up the patient data settings where the newly entered
name will be visible.
Caution!
If the first button pressed after the name editor becomes active is an alphanumerical
character, the previous name will be deleted. If it is the
Back
or
Space
button, the name
will not be deleted, and can be edited. The cursor is positioned at the end of the name.
