Besides touching, the screen can be manipulated by swiping
gestures
as described below:
Swiping with one finger (rightward, leftward, upward, or downward).
Swiping with two fingers (rightward, leftward, upward, or downward).
The two swiping movements above execute functions upon release. Lift your fingers from the
screen at the end of the gesture.
Adjusting specific settings is described as part of their respective menu sections.
8.2. Heart rate warning
A warning will appear if the patient’s heart rate exceeds or falls below the upper and lower
limits.
The upper and lower limit values can be found in the
Patient ID
menu. The warning function
can be turned on or off under
Setup/Others
. In case of a warning, instead of the QRS sound,
a periodic siren sound is emitted, and the heart rate indicator turns red and starts blinking. The
sound can be muted by touching the screen; however, the red blinking of the indicator will
continue. After the event, the sound is unmuted automatically, and following warnings will be
signaled by sound again.
Caution!
The warning triggered by this function serves for information purposes only. It cannot be
used to substitute critical state patient monitoring!
8.3. The QRS sound
If the QRS sound is enabled in the
Setup/Others
menu, the device will emit a sound when R-
waves are detected.
8.4. Automatic shutdown
If no buttons are pressed for 5 minutes, and there is no detectable ECG signal on the
electrodes, the device will emit a short sound and then shut down. This feature can be enabled
or disabled under
Setup/Others/Turn off
. If the
HS112 C-1
is connected to a computer, and
there is outgoing data traffic (monitoring, data transfer, etc.), automatic shutdown is disabled.
