Transpector MPS Operating Manual
Dwell
and
ppAMU
are changed by a drop-down list which includes all allowable
values. Once either parameter is changed, click
SET
to start collecting data with
the new parameters.
EM Voltage
displays the voltage of the Electron Multiplier.
5.5.2.2 Leak Checking
Transpector MPS is commonly used as a leak check tool by:
determining leaks while detecting helium that is sprayed by an operator and
then monitoring the change in helium concentration
indicating the presence of a leak by showing increased levels of nitrogen,
oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Click
LEAKCHECK
to display the
LEAKCHECK
window. Upon entering the
LEAKCHECK
window, Transpector MPS will start collecting data using the default
parameters as shown in
.
The Transpector Web UI
LEAKCHECK
window utilizes Transpector MPS signal
levels to generate alarm statuses. When the
LEAKCHECK
window is first entered,
Transpector Web UI auto-generates alarm levels based on the current Mass
signal.
NOTE:
Emission must be turned on to perform a leak check.
