Protocol Config

 

After opening I³ Config, choose

Protocol Config

, and select the port drop-down box to 

select a protocol device driver. All protocol device drivers currently loaded in 

i

³ Config are displayed 

in the dropdown selection. Some 

i

³ models can be limited in the number of ports or number of 

protocol device drivers that can be selected. Once a protocol is selected, the Network, Devices, and 
Data (Scan List) must be configured through corresponding dialogs accessible through the respective 
buttons (Network, Device, and Scan List).  
 
NOTE: If the MJ1 port is to be used in the Protocol Config, it will no longer be available for 

i

programming unless the controller is put into IDLE mode.
