IDS Smart Power Supply Module
The IDS Smart Power Supply Module allows you to add another power
supply with
dedicated 750mA auxiliary power output and 500mA battery
charging
without losing the ability to monitor failures. The status outputs
connect to an IDS X64 8 Zone Smart Expander Module as shown in this
diagram, which will report back to the X-Series alarm panel.
NOTE: To save you from having to replace the fuse when there is a short or when too much current
is drawn, the IDS Smart Power Supply Module has a resettable fuse. To reset the fuse just turn the
IDS Smart Power Supply Module off for a few seconds and then turn it back on.
The Monitored Power
Supply requires 16V
AC to be connected
to the AC connector.
The Monitored Power
Supply can supply
750mA of power.
