5 - UNPACKING AND INSTALLATION
5.1
UNPACKING
The machine is packed in a plain cardboard box for protection. The cardboard can be removed with the
appropriate equipment; however, cellophane, staples and adhesive tape can cut or injure if not handled
with care The machine should be unpacked and set up on a level surface, near a drain and water supply
and the components carefully checked.
WARNING!
USE THE APPROPRIATE SAFETy EQUIPMENT AND GIVE MAXIMUM CARE IN THE OPENING OF THE
PACKAGING. STRAPS OR STAPLES IF NOT HANDLED WITH CARE CAN CAUSE INjURy.
The disposal of the packaging must be carried out to conform to all local laws and regulations. After having
unpacked the machine make sure that the pressure washer is complete, including all of the requested
accessories.
5.2
INACTIVITy
During the periods of inactivity of the machine (machine which has already worked or still to be unpacked),
store it in a level, clean and dry place, in which the temperature is not lower than 5°C and higher than 40°C.
WARNING!
THE PRESSURE WASHERS NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED FROM FROST. DO NOT PLACE IT IN COLD ENVI-
RONMENTS WHERE THE TEMPERATURE COULD DROP BELOW 0°C, RESULTING IN THE FORMATION
OF ICE.
WARNING!
ANTIFREEZE MUST BE INTRODUCED INTO THE MACHINE WHILE RUNNING, AND ONLy AFTER HA-
VING CONSULTED TECHNICAL INFORMATION. THE USE OF UNSUITABLE ANTIFREEZE CAN DAMAGE
THE SEALS IN THE PUMP.
WARNING!
DO NOT FEED THE PRESSURE WASHER WITH WATER AT A TEMPERATURE ABOVE 40°C (104°F) OR
BELOW 5°C (41°F).
WARNING!
THE WATER SUPPLy PRESSURE MUST BE HIGHER THAN 1,5 AND LOWER THAN 2,5 BAR.
WARNING!
DO NOT FEED THE PRESSURE WASHER WITH WATER THAT IS BRACKISH OR THAT CONTAINS IMPU-
RITIES. USING NON-POTABLE WATER COULD SPREAD BACTERIA IN THE ENVIRONMENT, CAUSING
SERIOUS HARM TO PEOPLE, ANIMALS AND THE ENVIRONMENT ITSELF.
