To
remove
the
power/LED
switch
assembly,
complete
the
following
steps:
1.
Turn
off
the
computer,
if
it
is
on.
2.
Disconnect
the
power
cord
from
the
power
source
and
from
the
computer;
then,
disconnect
all
external
cables.
3.
Remove
the
side
cover
(see
“Removing
the
side
cover”
on
page
25).
4.
Remove
the
front
bezel
(see
“Removing
the
bezel”
on
page
26).
5.
Note
where
the
power-switch
and
LED
panel
cable
connects
to
the
system
board;
then,
carefully
disconnect
the
cable
from
the
system
board.

6.
From
inside
the
computer,
press
the
release
tab.
7.
Pull
the
assembly
toward
the
rear
of
the
computer
and
remove
it.
To
replace
the
power/LED
switch
assembly,
reverse
the
previous
steps,
making
sure
that
the
assembly
clicks
into
place
in
the
chassis.
