To
remove
the
I/O
card
retainer,
complete
the
following
steps:
1.
Turn
off
the
computer,
if
it
is
on.
2.
Disconnect
the
power
cord
from
the
power
source
and
from
the
computer;
then,
disconnect
all
external
cables.
3.
Remove
the
side
cover
(see
“Removing
the
side
cover”
on
page
25).
4.
Remove
all
adapters
(see
“Installing
an
adapter”
on
page
26).

5.
Squeeze
the
two
release
tabs
on
the
card
retainer.
6.
Pull
out
on
the
two
pivot
points
of
the
retainer
and
remove
it
from
the
computer.
To
replace
the
I/O
card
retainer,
reverse
the
steps.
