Replacing
the
side
cover
Complete
the
following
steps
to
replace
the
side
cover.
1.
Before
installing
the
cover,
check
that
all
cables,
adapters,
and
other
components
are
installed
and
seated
correctly
and
that
you
have
cleared
all
work
tools
from
inside
the
computer.
2.
Install
the
side
cover
by
placing
it
into
position
on
the
computer.
Make
sure
that
the
lip
on
the
bottom
of
the
cover
rests
inside
the
ledge
on
the
bottom
of
the
chassis
before
rotating
the
cover
toward
the
computer.
Press
down
and
forward
on
the
cover
until
it
locks.
3.
Reconnect
the
external
cables
and
power
cords
to
the
computer.
4.
Turn
on
the
attached
devices;
then,
turn
on
the
computer.
