options
You
can
connect
a
number
of
optional
external
devices
to
the
connectors
on
the
rear
and
front
of
the
computer.
Complete
the
following
steps
to
connect
an
external
device:
1.
Read
the
safety
information
beginning
on
page
125,
the
guidelines
in
“Handling
static-sensitive
devices”
on
page
23,
and
the
documentation
that
comes
with
your
options.
2.
Turn
off
the
computer
and
all
attached
devices
(see
“Turning
off
the
computer”
on
page
9).
3.
Follow
the
instructions
that
come
with
the
option
to
prepare
it
for
installation
and
to
connect
it
to
the
computer.
