Environmental Specifications
The IBM ® xSeries 343 server has been tested to the environmental specifications listed in
Table 2. All testing has been performed per procedures defined in Bellcore GR-63-CORE NEBS
Physical Protection, Bellcore GR-3580 NEBS Criteria Levels, and Bellcore GR-1089-CORE EMC
and Electrical Safety – Generic Criteria for Network Telecommunications Equipment.

500 Hz at a rate of 0.25 octaves/minute, on all three axes as per Bellcore
GR-63-CORE standard.

8 kV contact discharge without physical damage.
