Example: Connecting AS/400 to a finance network
Configuration parameters must be coordinated when you connect an AS/400 system to a 4701 finance
controller.
Finance communications use high-level language operations and communications functions that allow you
to communicate between an AS/400 system and finance controllers.
Matching AS/400 parameters for retail controllers
You must coordinate several AS/400 parameter values with retail controllers for retail communications.
These values are specified for the AS/400 system and in the controller configuration.
