14.Remove the standoff screws used to secure the planar serial/parallel connectors to the
rear of the unit.

15.Gently lift the system planar right side (the side towards the front of the system) (A).
16.Once the planar is lifted, take both edges with your hands, and pull it again toward the
front of the unit, until the serial/parallel connectors are removed from their holes (B).
17.Remove the planar from the unit sliding it upwards (C).
Do not touch the components on the board. Handle the board holding it by its edges.
18.Carefully remove the EMC gasket from around the serial and parallel connectors.
