Using the Mailbox
The optional Mailbox feature contains ten bins, each of which can hold approximately
forty-five sheets of paper. In addition, individual bins can be password protected to
provide security.
This section describes how to use the optional 10-bin Mailbox, including how to:
Remove prints from a bin
Enter a password
Enable and disable password protection for mailbox bins
Define and change passwords for a mailbox bin
For information on how to install the 10-Bin Mailbox, see “The 10-Bin Mailbox Option”
on page 167.
Removing Prints From a Bin
1. Make sure the printer is online. (If a menu is displayed, press the Online key.
READY appears in the display area.)
2. Press the Mailbox button.
3. If your bin is not password-protected, the green indicator light next to your bin goes
on when you press the Mailbox button. You can remove the print jobs from it now
(go to Step 7 on page 46).
