4. Remove the orange wrapper by pulling the center tab in the direction of the arrow.

5. Discard the orange wrapper.

6. Reinstall the toner cartridge. If you removed the optional envelope feeder, reinstall

it. See “Installing the Envelope Feeder” on page 174 for instructions.

7. Close the front cover.

8. Plug the power cord into printer and the wall outlet.

9. Switch the printer power on.

10. Reset the fuser counter (if this was not done when you installed a new fuser unit).

Use the Machine Info Menu to reset FUSER CTR (see “Machine Information Menu”
on page 109).

Cleaning the Printer

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the outside covers of the printer.

Attention: Do not use abrasive cleaners on the printer covers. Do not use detergent
solutions or other liquids on electronic components. Do not use cleaners that contain
ammonia.
