JAI Custom Control Pixel Correction
This function corrects for the chromatic aberration of magnification caused by the lens (i.e., when
the size of the image differs at the focal point for each color (RGB)). You can save correction data
for three types of lenses.
This function assumes that the amount of deviation between the left and right is identical. If the
amount of deviation between the left and right is not identical, correction will not be performed
properly. Specify the number of pixels to delay or advance the R channel and B channel using the
G channel as a reference. The correction range is –4.0 to +4.0 in steps of 0.1.
Adjustment Procedure
1. Correct the R channel. Set
ChromaticAberrationCorrectionSelecter
to
RChannel
.
Specify the amount of correction in
ChromaticAberrationCorrectionLens1,2,3
(–4.0 to
+4.0 in steps of 0.1).
2. Similarly, correct the B channel. Set
ChromaticAberrationCorrectionSelecter
to
BChannel
. Specify the amount of correction in
ChromaticAberrationCorrectionLens1,2,3
(–4.0 to +4.0 in steps of 0.1).
3. Enable the chromatic aberration of magnification correction function. Set
ChromaticAberrationCorrectionMode
to
On
.
Alternatively, select preset Lens1, Lens2, or Lens3.
