2.1 Overview 

 

 
The EC gateway unit is a slave station with a gateway function for connecting the 
ELECYLINDER to the field network of the host PLC. It supports 7 kinds of field networks   
(CC-Link, CC-Link IE Field, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS-DP, PROFINET IO). 
 

By connecting the EC connection units (RCON-EC) to REC System, it is available to connect 16 
axes at the maximum.
