Locate Exam Images in DEXIS
NOTE:
DEXIS is optional software and is not available in all countries.
If your site uses DEXIS Eleven (11.2), enter patient data in the DEXIS Administration program.
Refer to your DEXIS Software Manual for additional information.
1. In DEXIS, locate patient, then click
to open the Extra-oral display.
2. Double-click the i-CAT box to start TxSTUDIO and load patient
exam.
3. View scan in TxSTUDIO.
Locate Exam Images in a Practice Management System
If your site uses a supported PM system to locate and retrieve images, the optional SmartScan
STUDIO PM interface software must be installed. This software enables your PM system to open
a patient exam acquired in SmartScan STUDIO with TxSTUDIO or Dolphin 3D viewer. If you have
more than one supported viewer on your workstation, you will be prompted to select the viewer
to use for each exam.
The PM interface was configured at installation. If you have a problem, you can check status
messages for the PM Interface at your site server. Go to Control Panel, select SmartScan
STUDIO Integration Services, then select the
PM Interface
tab.
