To adjust the spring pre-load, turn the
adjuster counter-clockwise to the desired
position with the clamp wrench.
Position 1 provides the softest spring pre-
load and position 5 provides the stiffest.

from the factory with its adjuster set on
position 3.
A small and light article such as mainte-
nance manual or Owner’s manual can be
placed under the rear seat.
The tool kit is attached on the back side
of the rear seat with a rubber band.
