3.1 ContaminationSensor for Condition Monitoring

The concept of

Condition Monitoring

(English condition moni-

toring) is based on a regular or continuous condition moni-
toring by measuring oil cleanliness.

This filter unit has a

ContaminationSensor CS1000

including

integrated air release line. This means that the filter unit is
suitable for continuous monitoring of particle contamination in
the fluid. The version of the

cleanliness classes

can be selected

in accordance with ISO, SAE or NAS. The supply voltage of
the ContaminationSensor is available after switching on the
filter unit.
