In the
Name
line, you can assign a unique
alphanumeric name for the CAN-message
or measured value.
•
In the lines
Lower measurement range
and
Upper measurement range
enter the
appropriate sensor values (e.g. 0 and 600
for a 0 .. 600 bar pressure sensor).
•
In the
Unit
line, enter the relevant unit of
measurement for the sensor (e.g. bar, psi,
°C, etc.)
•
Under
Decimal format
specify, whether
the measured value is to be displayed with
a decimal place in the HMG.
CAN Data
•
In the
Frame Format
line, indicate whether the
CAN message is in either Standard (11 bit) or
Extended (29 bit) format.
•
In the
Message Id
line enter the hexadecimal
coded message-Id (CAN-Identifier) of the
relevant CAN-message.
•
In the
Data offset
line indicate from which of the
eight databytes the required information should
start to be read.
(Example: With Data offset = 3 and Data format =
16-Bit Integer, the 4th and 5th databyte will be
read)
