Ruler:
When the
Ruler
is activated, the screen
appears as shown in the screenshot. The
function bar contains the commands which
can be accessed for the ruler.
Using the arrow keys by themselves enables
you to determine the pressure at a particular
point in time. If you move the ruler using the
arrow keys parallel to the x- and y-axis to a
specific measurement point in the curve, the
associated x- and y-values are shown along
the axis, colour-highlighted with the colour of
the measurement curve.
To measure a
pressure pulse in time
and
amplitude
, for example, use the
Differential
function. Proceed as follows:
First shift the x- and y-ruler to the starting
point of the pressure pulse using the arrow
keys. Then press the
Shift
key in addition
to the arrow keys and hold it down. As soon
as you actuate one of the arrow keys, a
second x- and y-ruler appears, which you
can move to the end point of the pressure
pulse using the arrow keys (continue to
press the
Shift
key).
Now you can release the
Shift
key. The
value of the pressure differential is shown
relative to the starting value along the
y-axis; the duration of the pressure pulse
(now colour-highlighted) is shown along the
x-axis. To exit the Ruler, press
Esc
.
