PROCEDURE
Close (if fitted) the
>Cooling water drain<
[15].
Connect the
>Cooling water outlet<
[14] to the water return flow.
Connect the
>Cooling water inlet<
[13] to the water supply.
Leaking cooling water connections
DAMAGE BY ROOM FLOODING
Slowly open the building-side shut-off valves of the cooling water supply and return line.
If water leaks from the cooling water connections: shut off the cooling water supply and return
line immediately.
Provide leakproof cooling water connections.
Open the shut-off valves in the water line on the temperature control unit and on the building side.
Check the connections for leaks.

Preparations for operation
2.9.1
Opening/closing valves
Opening valves:
Open valves by turning them cou
nterclockwise (turn 90° left as far as it will go).
Close valves:
close valves by turning them clockwise (turn 90° right as far as it will go).
PROCEDURE
Check that all valves are closed.
Close all valves by turning them clockwise (turn 90° right as far
as it will go).

Mounting/removing the isolating sleeve (optional)

Mounting the Isolating sleeve (only for externally open applications)
PROCEDURE
Check the O-ring on the
>Isolating sleeve<
[27] for damage. Replace the O-ring if necessary.
Remove the
>Expansion vessel cap<
[22].
Mount the
>Isolating sleeve<
[27] with the aid of the fitted
>Guide rod<
[A].
Close the
>Expansion vessel cap<
[22].
Close the
>Venting valve expansion vessel<
[21] for all stand-alone units by turning them clock-
wise (turn 90° right as far as it will go).
