On the WebUI, EPO can be performed only when

Monitoring > Param. Settings >

System Settings> EPO detection

is set to

Enable

. Otherwise, EPO function is not

available.

EPO detection

is set to

Disable

by default.



If the UPS is in normal mode, the UPS provides no output after you press the EPO switch.
The loads power off.



If the UPS is in maintenance bypass mode, the UPS still supplies power after you press the
EPO switch.

Procedure

Step 1

Turn on the external EPO switch that connects to the dry contact. The UPS enters the EPO
state. EPO alarms are displayed on the LCD and WebUI.

5.1.10 Clearing the EPO State

Procedure

Step 1

Turn off the external EPO switch that connects to the dry contact. Ensure that the EPO switch
is not in the EPO state.

Step 2

Clear the EPO alarms in the system.



On the main screen, choose

Alarms

Clear Faults

. After the dialog box is displayed,

press

and the EPO alarm can be cleared, as shown in
