To change the tripwire direction, select the ID of the tripwire to modify, and move the mouse pointer
to the tripwire. When the mouse pointer changes to the
icon, right-click the tripwire and
choose a tripwire direction.
A surveillance area can have a maximum of 10 angles.
A behavior analysis function supports a maximum of four surveillance areas, and all behavior
analysis functions support a maximum of ten surveillance areas.
A maximum of five tripwires can be specified.
You can perform operations in one surveillance area at a time.
Limitation on the behavior analysis objects: A maximum of 30 objects can be analyzed in distant
object mode, and a maximum of 15 objects can be analyzed in close-up object mode.
Limitation on object size (the resolution of 352 x 288 is used as an example): A minimum size of 10
x 10 is supported. A maximum size of 100 x 100 is supported in distant object mode. A maximum
size of 100 x 200 is supported in close-up object mode. The value indicates the area, not the
limitation on length and height.

5.3.3 Configuring the Intrusion Detection Function
The intrusion detection function checks whether an object enters a sensitive area (a key
surveillance area for which behavior analysis rules have been configured). The system
generates an alarm when an object enters a sensitive area.
