Configuring User Login Restriction Parameters
Step 1
Log in to the Linux operating system as the
admin
user. Run the
su - root
command to
switch to the
root
user.
Step 2
Run the
cd /usr/app/bin/
command.
Step 3
Run the
./help setsystemuserlock [ErrorNumber] [LockTime]
command to configure the
user login restriction parameters.
[ErrorNumber]
specifies the maximum number (1-99) of allowed incorrect password inputs. When the
number of consecutive login attempts reaches the maximum, the user account will be locked.
[LockTime]
specifies the maximum interval (1-999, in minutes) that users are allowed to enter incorrect
passwords. When the number of consecutive login attempts reaches the maximum within this specified
period, the user account will be locked.
Run the
./help getsystemuserlock
command to query the values of
[ErrorNumber]
and
[LockTime]
.

: queries media stream messages.
./help getdevicetime
: queries the start time and running time of the device.
./help getptzlocation
: queries the current PTZ position.
