Recommended Cable Management
Perform the following procedure after installing a switch, as shown in
Figure 29
:
1. Install two cable restraints (

) on each side of the rack in positions that will
hold the Fibre Channel cables away from the power supply.
2. Form loose bundles of the installed Fibre Channel cables (

) on each side of
the rack.
3. Wrap the cable bundles with the cable restraints (
1
) in two positions on each
side of the rack to maintain clearance for power supply access (
3
).
