LVDS PCA
Phillips screwdriver
Plug-in module (page 2-3).
Hard drive (page 2-4).
Display (page 2-8).
Keyboard (page 2-11).
Top case (page 2-17).
Unplug the LVDS PCA from
the motherboard.
Do not install the left screw
until you install the display
assembly.
Caution:
Do not overtighten
the LVDS screws. They fasten
to a sheet-metal bracket and
the threads could strip.
Port Replicator
No repairable components.
Exchange is required.
USB PCA
Phillips screwdriver
Plug-in module (page 2-3).
Hard drive (page 2-4).
Display (page 2-8).
Keyboard (page 2-11).
Top case (page 2-17).
Motherboard, but only until
the USB PCA is removed
(page 2-20).
The motherboard does not
have to be removed.
