11.8. Charging and discharging an additional storage tank (PEL/PBL)
11.8.1. Discharge PEL:
If the solar storage tank is charged, the heat can be transferred to an additional storage tank. The additional
storage tank is charged as soon as the reference value (08-062) on the storage tank sensor top of the solar
storage tank is reached plus the hysteresis (08-063) and the temperature is higher than at the storage tank
sensor bottom T2U of the additional storage tank by the switch-on difference (08-077). The pump for discharge
(pump PEL) is active.
If the temperature at the storage tank sensor top T1O of the solar storage tank drops below the reference value
(08-062) or below the switch-off difference (08-078) plus the temperature value of the storage tank sensor bottom of
the additional storage tank T2U, charging of this tank is finished and discharging is stopped.
The allocation of the output for the PEL pump is allocated to a fixed setting by the hydraulic application.
T1O > reload ref (08-069) + hys (08-063) & T1O > T2U + Diffon (08-077), then PEL on
T1O < reload ref (08-069) or T1O < T2U + Diffoff (08-078), then PEL off
11.8.2. Charging PBL
If the solar yield is no longer sufficient for charging the solar storage tank, the heat can be transferred from the
additional storage tank, or loaded back.
The solar storage tank is charged as soon as the reference value for recharging TOxref on the solar storage tank
sensor top T1O is undershot and the temperature at the storage tank sensor top T2O of the additional storage
tank is higher by the switch-on difference (08-075). Pump PBL charging is active. If the temperature at the
storage tank sensor top T1O of the storage tank rises above the reference value TOxref or the temperature at
the storage tank sensor top of the additional storage tank T2O drops below the switch-off difference (08-076),
charging is finished.
Depending on the mean solar output, the consumer reference value for recharging is reduced by a definable
value (08-072).
The allocation of the output for the PBL pump is allocated to a fixed setting by the hydraulic application.
T2O > T1O + Diffon (08-075) & T1O < TOxref_reload - Hys (08-063), then PBL on
T2O < T1O + Diffoff (08-076) or T1O > TOxref_reload, then PBL off
