11.11.2 Parking brake

DANGER

Serious accidents from loss of stability!

Park the machine only on a level and firm ground.

Secure the machine against rolling away before unhitching.

Parking brake crank

Always apply the parking brake and secure the machine against rolling away
before parking the machine.

Release the parking brake before parking for a longer period of time or after
the end of the season. Brake pads may otherwise stick to the drum and make
restarting of the machine more difficult.

Always release the parking brake before transport travels. The cables must be
relieved, and the wheels must be free to rotate.

Maintenance

Check the function of the parking brake before connecting the machine.

Where necessary adjust the cable or the brake pads.
