6.1 Tines
The tines are a combination of loosening tools and fertiliser coulter. They loosen the
soil, remove harvesting residues from the root area and place the fertiliser into the
seed row.
The TerraGrip III tool carriers are equipped with a spring loaded stone release pro-
tection. The maximum tripping force is 670 kg.

NOTE
The stone release protection serves as protection system against obstacles in the
field.
Ø Reduce the working depth if the stone release protection is often triggered
under hard ground conditions, even without stones as obstacles.
