Tighten the screw connections for mounting the wings on the nut. Do not
tighten on the screw head.

Tighten all screw connections with a nut runner or torque spanner.

Observe the tightening torque: 160 ± 10 Nm
6.6 Levelling discs
The levelling discs are arranged behind the tine field and create a level seedbed for
the coulters in front of the tyre packer.
Levelling discs
The height of the discs can be adjusted hydraulically. The correct setting must be de-
termined in the field.
• Levelling – Grain adjustment
The discs transport material into the furrow behind the tine. The working depth
is adjusted so that ridges between the tines will be levelled.
• Ridge forming
The discs transport additional material out of the furrow behind the tine. This
necessary, if the furrows of the first row of tines are affected by the earth move-
ment caused by the second row of tines (stepping effect). With these discs the
seed furrows can be uniformly defined.
