9.1.1 Fan motor

Return pressure

max. 5 bar

Speed

max. 5,500 rpm

Focus fan

The fan has three ports. The fan must be correctly connected to prevent the motor
from being damaged.

Feed and return flow of the motor must be connected to a double-acting con-
trol unit.

The third port is connected to the free return flow of the tractor.

CAUTION

Damage on the fan motor – axial piston motor

Connect the leak oil line to the leak oil port of the tractor!

Note the return flow pressure of max. 5 bar of the leak oil line!

Checks and maintenance

Observe the return flow pressure of maximum 5 bar, measured on the motor.

Clean the air intake grid at regular intervals to prevent a restriction in air flow
and resulting blockage.

Clean any dirt or deposits from the fan blades to prevent unbalance and dam-
age to impeller and bearing.

For fan with oil cooling the filter must be cleaned in addition at regular inter-
vals to maintain the cooling function.

Retighten the clamping taper on the fan shaft (see chapter Fan Flange).

9.1.2 Retightening the fan flange

The clamping taper fixates the fan wheel and additionally clamps on the drive shaft.

The clamping taper on the fan drive may come loose. The impeller can thus move
along the drive shaft and damage the fan.

NOTE

After approx. 50 hours retighten the clamping taper on the fan flange and check it
annually.
