Note in current output use
The current output represents the reflection strength of the laser. However, the installation
environment might influence the value.
Do not exceed the load resistance capacity (550

) including the external connection load of
ascending and descending.
Do not ground the terminal [-S] at the receiver side (customer device).

Note in wiring work

Supply the power supply (100 V AC) with little voltage fluctuation or noise.

Ensure to ground the terminal GND (ground resistance of 100

or less).

Allow enough distance from the noise source when wiring the signal/contact output cable.
(Construction using the electric wire tube of metal is recommended.)

Use a shield cable to extend the signal and contact output cable.
Note

Connect the shield line of the accessory cables and the extension cable in the relay box.

Arrange the shield line (SG) of the signal and contact output cables on the receiving side to
OPEN.
To extend the signal/contact output cable, use a shield cable to provide cross connection wiring.

The arrestor is not built into LO-300.
The customer must arrange protective measures as necessary.

Confirm wiring and power-supply voltage at wiring work completion (100 V AC


).

In performing a megger test, apply voltage should be 250 V DC or less.
Measuring megger of the voltage of 250 V DC or more could damage the parts inside the
detector (between phases, between the phase and GND).
CAUTION
Power supply specification of detector: 100 V AC


, 50 Hz to 60 Hz.
Avoid supply from the power with noise or large voltage fluctuation.
Provide a safety countermeasure such as a breaker.
WARNING
Ensure to perform grounding for the GND terminal of power cable, or it may cause electric shock.
