Here explains the function of each part of the display box.

Proximity sensor
(reflection type)
It is a proximity sensor of the reflection type. When operating it, it is not necessary to remove
the front lid of display box.
If the finger is held up during the OFF state, the back light lights again.
CPU error LED
(CPU_ERR)
It is a red LED pilot light. The light turns ON when the CPU has any operation error.
It is possible to release it by resetting CPU or by turning ON the power supply (100 V) again.
CPU reset switch
It is a switch for maintenance.
It can forcefully reset (restart) the CPU operation.
